Spacecraft

The craft described by military pilots, whistleblowers, and thousands of witnesses, and the physics that could explain how they move.

How to read this catalog. These craft descriptions come from military pilot testimony, Pentagon released footage, whistleblower claims, and government documents. Each entry names its witnesses. Illustrations are artist's interpretations of the described craft, not photographs. Nothing here is presented as confirmed fact.

Military witness, 2004

The Tic Tac

In November 2004, off the coast of San Diego, Navy Commander David Fravor and three other aviators from the USS Nimitz were vectored to an object the Princeton's radar had tracked for days. Fravor described a smooth white oblong craft, roughly 40 feet long, with no wings, no windows, and no visible propulsion. It hovered over a disturbed patch of ocean, mirrored his maneuvers, then accelerated away at extraordinary speed. His radar was jammed during the intercept. The Pentagon later confirmed the accompanying FLIR footage as authentic UAP imagery.

Reported operators: none observed.

Military witness, 2015

The Gimbal

In January 2015, Navy aircrew from the USS Theodore Roosevelt captured infrared footage of an object rotating in flight with a visible aura, later released by the Pentagon as one of three official UAP videos. Pilots including Ryan Graves reported near daily encounters with unknown objects in the same training ranges during that deployment. The footage is authentic; what the object was remains unresolved.

Reported operators: none observed.

Military witness

Cube in a Sphere

Navy F/A-18 pilot Ryan Graves described objects encountered by Roosevelt aircrew as dark cubes suspended inside translucent spheres, holding stationary against hurricane force winds. The description comes from firsthand pilot testimony and Graves' subsequent congressional testimony.

Reported operators: none observed.

Artist's interpretation of the 1933 Magenta disc
Whistleblower claim

The 1933 Magenta Disc

Grusch described the earliest recovery he knows of: a lenticular disc that crashed in Magenta, Italy in 1933, recovered by Mussolini's government, determined not to be German, and transferred to the United States via Vatican backchannels near the end of World War II. He framed this as the start of a 90 plus year reverse engineering effort. No documents confirming the recovery have been publicly produced.

Sources: Grusch claim, Rogan ep. 2560. No public documents.

Reported operators: unknown.

Artist's interpretation of the Phoenix Lights craft
Mass witness event, 1997

The Phoenix Lights

On the night of March 13, 1997, thousands of people across Arizona watched a massive triangular craft, described as up to a mile wide, glide silently over the state from Prescott to Tucson. Witnesses reported lights along its leading edge and a solid structure blocking out the stars as it passed overhead. Governor Fife Symington initially mocked the sightings at a press conference, then admitted a decade later that he had witnessed the craft himself and found it otherworldly. The military attributed lights seen later that night to flares, an explanation that does not account for the earlier triangular craft.

Reported operators: none observed.

Sources: thousands of civilian witnesses across Arizona; Gov. Fife Symington statements (2007); contemporaneous news coverage.

Artist's interpretation of the Stephenville craft
Mass witness event, 2008

The Stephenville Craft

On January 8, 2008, hundreds of residents around Stephenville and Dublin, Texas, including a local pilot, a constable, and business owners, reported a massive silent object estimated at a mile long moving over the area. The Air Force initially denied any aircraft were in the area, then FOIA released radar data confirmed F-16s from the 301st Fighter Wing were airborne that night. No official explanation for the object itself was ever offered.

Reported operators: none observed.

Sources: hundreds of civilian witnesses including local officials; FOIA radar data; major media coverage.

Under oath, 2023

A multi decade retrieval program

Before the House Oversight subcommittee on July 26, 2023, Grusch testified that the US government operates a multi decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program, hidden inside unacknowledged special access programs, and has been aware of non human craft since the 1930s. Asked directly whether the government possesses recovered craft, he answered absolutely.

Under oath, 2023

Biologics recovered with the craft

Under oath, Grusch said biologics came with some of these recoveries. Asked whether they were human or non human, he said non human, and immediately clarified this was the assessment of people with direct knowledge whom he had interviewed. He did not claim to have seen remains himself.

Explanatory hypothesis

The spacetime bubble

UAP are frequently reported to accelerate instantly, change direction without visible propulsion, and move between air and water. In 1994, physicist Miguel Alcubierre published a solution to Einstein's field equations describing a warp bubble: spacetime contracts ahead of a craft and expands behind it while the craft sits in flat undisturbed space. Such a metric would in principle produce exactly the reported signatures: no exhaust, no sonic boom, no g forces on occupants. This is an explanatory hypothesis, not evidence. No observed UAP has been linked to a warp metric, and the negative energy density the math requires has never been observed.

Government record

The government's warp drive library

The Defense Intelligence Agency's AAWSAP program (2008 to 2012, about 22 million dollars, contracted to Bigelow Aerospace) commissioned 37 research papers on warp drives, wormholes, antigravity, and invisibility cloaking. The papers were included in the sixth PURSUE document release. AARO officials have said the studies do not confirm the existence of extraterrestrial craft or recovered technology. They are academic speculation, not evidence of operational programs.
